Coaching Sports in Latin America & the Caribbean
Volunteers with a passion for sports and who enjoy working with children and teenagers are welcome to join one of our Sports coaching projects in Latin America & the Caribbean. We work in schools, private sports centres and community clubs, and there are a number of different Sports options to choose from. You have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of disadvantaged children, by creating a positive environment for them to learn the importance of teamwork and develop their skills. These placements are ideal for recent graduates, those on a gap year or university students.
Sports Volunteering in Latin America & the Caribbean - What Is It Like?
Volunteers can join specific football or volleyball coaching projects, or work at schools or clubs and coach a range of physical education activities, including rugby, cricket, soccer, hockey, track and field, and general fitness exercises. It’s an excellent way to develop personal leadership skills, improve your own abilities and pass on your passion for sport to children in the developing world.
You don’t need any prior experience to join one of our volunteer Sports coaching programmes; energy, passion and an open-mind are all that we require!
